Power supply to Delhi lawyers’ chambers to get cheaper

New Delhi, Oct 13 (IANS) Electricity supplied to lawyers' chambers in court complexes here will become cheaper as the Delhi government has decided that the supply will be billed under the domestic category, Power Minister Satyendar Jain said on Friday.

Jain said the decision was taken at a Cabinet meeting and the Delhi government will foot the bill on account of difference in rates of commercial and domestic supplies.

The Minister said the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission had earlier refused to do the same.
