Mumbai, Oct 2 (IANS) Two and three-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto on Monday reported a rise of 14 per cent in its total sales, including exports, for September 2017.
According to the company, its total sales during the month under review rose to 428,752 units from 376,765 units sold during the corresponding month of 2016.
Bajaj Auto's total domestic sales last month stood at 281,779 units -- up 10 per cent -- from 255,592 units sold during the like month of last year.
Similarly, its overall exports during the last month edged higher by 21 per cent to 146,973 units from 121,173 units that were shipped out during September 2016.
The company's total motorcycle sales during the month under review grew by 11 per cent to 369,678 units from 331,976 units.
In addition, the overall commercial vehicle sales surged by 32 per cent to 59,074 units from 44,789 units sold during September 2016.
