Birender Singh to undergo prostate surgery at AIIMS

New Delhi, Sep 29 (IANS) Union Minister for Steel Chaudhary Birender Singh was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here on Friday for a prostate gland problem and may undergo surgery next week.

"He was admitted today (Friday) morning. As of now, his tests are being conducted," an AIIMS doctor told IANS.

A team under Dr P.N Dogra has been constituted for Singh's treatment.

The 71-year-old leader from Haryana has been visiting AIIMS for three months for the treatment of his medical problem.
