New Delhi, Sep 22 (IANS) The father of murdered class 2 student Pardhuman on Friday asked why the government is silent on his son's death and did it mean that they are providing safe passage to the accused.
Barun Chandra Thakur, in a statement here, said that he had reached out to several leaders of the ruling BJP, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, over Twitter, but none of them had replied to him.
"The question rises today in the aforesaid backdrop is, why is the government absolutely so silent? Doesn't it mean that it is providing safe passage to the Pintos, the founders of Ryan International School?" said the father of seven-year-old, who was found dead on September 8 in the washroom of Ryan International School in Gurugram with his throat slit.
Thakur also asked all authorities concerned to expedite disposal of formalities related to referring the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation, while appealing to parents across the country to join the movement for safety and security of school-going children and urged they join him at a march in India Gate on Sunday.
