New Delhi, Sep 20 (IANS) Four persons were arrested on the charge of fatally stabbing a young man and injuring his friend when they intervened in a road rage case in east Delhi, police said on Wednesday.
Deepanshu Chabra, 24, Devender Sharma, 24, Rohan, 22 and Gufran, 22, who are residents of Gandhi Nagar and Geeta Colony in east Delhi, were arrested on Tuesday from Haridwar in Uttarakhand.
Nishant Arora was stabbed to death and his friend Ashish Tyagi injured by the accused on September 16-17 night when the two along with Gaurav Sharma were on their way to Jheel Chowk in Geeta Colony on a scooty.
They intervened when the accused were involved in a heated exchange with a car driver near Chaman Dhaba, only to be knifed by the accused, Deputy Commissioner of Police Nupur Prasad said.
