Lucknow, Sep 19 (IANS) Seven persons including a bridegroom were killed in a road accident in Uttar Pradesh's Budayun district on Tuesday evening, police said.
The accident happened at around 4 p.m. near Aaspur village in Kakrala, when a vehicle carrying a newly wed and their family was returning from the bride's village.
The driver of the Xylo car apparently lost control while negotiating a steep turn at a high speed and smashed into a roadside tree.
The deceased have been identified as Amzad (groom), his sister Ibrana, Raja, Parveen, Farhan, Samreen (4) and an infant Rehan.
Six others who were injured in the accident have been referred to Bareilly where the condition of two is stated to be critical.
