New York/New Delhi, Sep 18 (IANS) Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Sunil Bharti Mittal has been extended a formal invitation to join the Annual Heads of State (HoS) luncheon at the United Nations General Assembly to be held on Tuesday.
Mittal will be joining the HoS meet, which is also being attended by US President Donald Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Brazilian President Michel Temer, among other key global leaders, an official statement said here.
UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has extended the opportunity to ICC to become the first non-government entity to be accorded a permanent seat as an observer at the United Nations General Assembly.
