The decapitated body of Jawed, 24, was found in a field about one km from his house in Samaypur Badli area of Rohini, Deputy Commissioner of Police Rishi Pal said.
The head was yet to be found and not arrest had been made, police said in the evening.
Jawed, who worked in a factory in Siraspur, left home after a phone call on Sunday night and was missing since then.
