Delhi on Friday recorded 32.6 degrees Celsius maximum temperature, two notches below the season's average -- the same as on Thursday.
On Friday, Safdarjung and Palam area of Delhi recorded 5 mm rainfall between 8.30 a.m and 5.30 p.m, while in the past 24 hours, Safdarjung experienced 67.6 mm rainfall till 8.30 a.m.
"Rains will continue on Saturday as well ... light showers are expected. However, the monsoon trough is now shifting northwards towards the Himalaya foothills," Mahesh Palawat, Director of private weather forecasting agency Skymet, said.
The minimum temperature recorded on Friday was 25.5 degrees, a notch below the season's average, and the humidity oscillated between 93 per cent and 86 per cent.
Thursday's maximum temperature settled at 32.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum stood at 26.6 degrees.
