New Delhi, Aug 29 (IANS) The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will hold a three-day annual coordination meeting in Mathura from September 1 to take stock of the activities of organisations associated with it.
The meeting is likely to be attended, among others, by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and other top RSS office bearers, BJP Chief Amit Shah and heads of over 40 organisations associated with it like VHP, Swadeshi Jagran Manch, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh and Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh.
Though officially there are no further details of the agenda before the meeting, there is speculation that the conclave could discuss the BJP's mission of getting more than 350 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls and how these organisations could involve themselves in that exercise.
RSS publicity head Manmohan Vaidya told IANS that achievements of various organisation will be discussed during the meeting and stock of events and activities will be undertaken.
"If such issues come before us, we will take it up," Vaidya said when asked whether issue like construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya or Article 356 or Article 35 A in Kashmir are on the meeting agenda.
