The accused, identified as Julum Panjiara, Suraj, Nand Kishore Panjiara, Ram Charan, Prakash Panjiara, Panchu Panjiara and Dalip Panjiara, are natives of Bihar's Banka district and had been evading arrest for the last one year.
"After committing crimes in Banka during the years 2010 to 2016, they had come to Delhi and started working as casual labourers like rickshaw puller to evade their arrest. They were staying in Majnu Ka Tilla area in north Delhi from where they were arrested on a raid following a tip off," said Deputy Commissioner of Police Jatin Narwal.
"During interrogation, they told police that they had a dispute over a piece of land in their native place in Bihar with one of their relatives identified as Mahender Panjiara. This rivalry took a bloody turn and till now has led to five deaths on both sides," he added.
The seven were later handed over to Bihar Police, police said.
