Dubai authority launches internal paper recycling project

Dubai, Aug 3 (IANS/WAM) The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority has launched an internal recycling project to encourage employees to reuse paper and reduce waste.

The "Namaa" project was launched by Dubai Culture's corporate social responsibility team, and will see all paper used within the organisation recycled into new materials as part of continuous efforts to achieve sustainability and avoid wasting resources, the media report said on Thursday.

Namaa is one of a number of several environmentally-friendly initiatives and projects that were launched by the authority.

The project has so far managed to recycle 100 per cent of Dubai's cultural documents. The authority uses only recycled paper for its internal paperwork.
