Sack TN Health Minister, demands RamadossChennai, Aug 2 (IANS) PMK founder S. Ramadoss on Wednesday demanded that Tamil Nadu Health Minister C. Vijayabaskar be sacked immediately after raids at his residence and other places and attachment of his properties by the Income Tax Department.

In a statement here, Ramadoss welcomed the department's action to attach Vijayabaskar's properties after the raids at 35 places in April 2017 in connection with charges of distributing cash for votes ahead of the R.K. Nagar assembly constituency by-election.

Ramadoss said Vijayabaskar has been asked to appear before the Income Tax Department officials on August 17.

 

According to the PMK leader, there are several other charges against Vijayabaskar and he should be removed from the cabinet.
