New Delhi, July 31 (IANS) Designer Anita Dongre feels people are moving on from seeking inspiration from the movie industry when it comes to fashion. She says influences are more cultural and rooted in a personal belief system.
"The movie industry has always influenced fashion choices but we are at an interesting time in the world where women are using fashion as a method of self expression," Dongre, who is participating in the fifth edition of luxury bridal exhibition Vogue Wedding Show 2017, told IANS.
"Influences are more cultural and rooted in a personal belief system," she added.
At the moment, she is excited about her association with Vogue Wedding Show. The fifth edition will be held from August 4-6 at the Taj Palace here.
Talking about the exhibition, she said: "It's a great platform for modern day brides and grooms to explore the latest bridal couture trends."
