Women are born multi-taskers: Ishika Taneja

New Delhi, July 24 (IANS) Miss India Tourism and beauty expert Ishika Taneja, who has featured alongside veteran singer-composer Bappi Lahiri in the song "Dilli ki raat" in "Indu Sarkar", says women are capable of doing many things at the same time as they are born multi-taskers.

Ishika, who is also the Executive Director of Bharti Taneja's ALPS Group, says she likes to do try out different things and acting is on the top of her list right now.

"I would love to act. I will like to try everything as I am an entrepreneur and look after my family business. Then I am also a painter and do a lot of social work," Ishika told IANS.

"I feel women are born multi-taskers and they shouldn't confine themselves and just be one thing. They just need to be passionate about work and give their 100 per cent," she added.

Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, "Indu Sarkar" is slated for a release on Friday.

"Madhur is a family friend since a long time. We were very interested when he discussed 'Indu Sarkar' with my family. Then he asked me to do the promo song and I was more than happy because it's a dream come true moment for any one to work with Bappi Da," Ishika said.

Besides that, Ishika will also star in a web series by filmmaker Vikram Bhatt.

"I have shot a web series with Vikram Bhatt. It's an interesting one and I am playing the lead. It will have seasons," she said.
