New Delhi, July 16 (IANS) It was a cloudy Sunday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 28.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal.
"The sky will be generally cloudy with possibility of light rain or thundershowers towards the afternoon," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 80 per cent.
Saturday's maximum and minimum temperature was recorded one notch above the normal at 36.4 degrees Celsius and 28.4 degrees Celsius respectively.
