New Delhi, July 12 (IANS) It was a pleasant Wednesday morning here with rains in several parts of the city that brought the minimum temperature down a notch below average to 26 degrees Celsius, the weather office said.
"The sky will be generally cloudy with possibility of light to moderate rain and thundershowers towards evening or night," an official of the India Meteorological Department told IANS.
The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 85 per cent. A total of 24.7 mm of rainfall was recorded in the last 24 hours.
On Tuesday, the maximum temperature settled at 35.8 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season, while the minimum was recorded at 28.5 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average.
