Paris, July 11 (IANS/MAP) Morocco is among the top five African agriculture champions, according to a study on the perception of international investors of the African economy.
The study was published on Tuesday and carried out by Havas Horizons and Institute Choiseul. It said that Morocco is included in the ranking with Ethiopia, C?te d'Ivoire, Kenya, Nigeria and Cameroon.
The study noted that these countries were distinguished by their ability to tackle the challenges in the agriculture sector.
The study was based on a survey of several investors who point out that agriculture is a promising sector, driven by the need to feed a growing population and reduce the risk of dependence from the outside world.
