Afghan government hires Jindal Law School graduateSonepat (Haryana), June 21 (IANS) Wali Zardan, an L.L.M graduate from Jindal Global Law School of O.P. Jindal Global University in Haryana, has been appointed the Legal Director of the Ministry of Mines & Petroleum of the Government of Afghanistan, the university has said.

"The learning opportunities provided at Jindal Global Law School along with their outstanding faculty members has led to these fruitful results. I am delighted and excited and indeed grateful to my alma mater, JGU," Zardan said.

The Jindal Global Law School registered a rising demand for leadership roles from international and domestic law firms, think tanks and corporate houses as well in 2017.

 

"The school witnessed a 33 per cent increase in the number of recruiters participating in the current placements season and over 81 organisations, both domestic and international firms made 108 offers to students of the Class of 2017," the university said.

India's premiere corporate law firm, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM), has made offers to 11 students of the graduating batch, it added.
