Chennai, June 17 (IANS) Actress Simran Bagga says she has landed a powerful role in actor Sivakarthikeyan's next yet-untitled Tamil project and she is quite excited about the opportunity.
"I can't talk about my role. However, I can say it will be a powerful one and I will be seen throughout the film. I'm excited to be working with a very energetic team," Simran told IANS.
The film, being directed by Ponram, went on the floors on Friday.
"We will be shooting in Tenkasi and Kuttralam. Like Ponram's earlier films, this project will also be high on humour. I'm looking forward to joining the team," she said.
Sivakarthikeyan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, pairing up for the first time, play the leads.
This project marks the third time collaboration of Sivakarthikeyan and Ponram after "Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam" and "Rajini Murugan".
