New Delhi, June 8 (IANS) It was a pleasant and cool Thursday morning in the national capital with several areas in the city and the national capital region receiving rains early in the day that brought down the mercury by a couple of notches.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 28.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
"The skies will be partly cloudy. There is possibility of rain or thunderstorm or even dust storm," an official at the India Meteorological Department (IMD) told IANS.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius, three degrees below the season's average.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 59 per cent.
Wednesday was a hot day in Delhi, with the mercury touching 43 degrees Celsius, three notches above the normal. The minimum temperature was two notches below the season's average and was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius.
