The tribunal acted on the application by a city resident Kishan Kumar, who earlier sought sealing of illegal industries running in the residential area.
Earlier this year, the tribunal also directed the concerned officials of the area to seal such industries operating illegally without permission from the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC).
A bench headed by Justice Jawad Rahim directed the area's Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) to file an affidavit and apprise it about the industries, which have been shut down.
Approximately hundred such industries, mostly of metal works, were operating from the rented space in the residential area, thereby causing air pollution.
The matter will be next heard on July 12.
