New Delhi, May 24 (IANS) It was a partly cloudy Wednesday morning here in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 26.6 degrees Celsius, season's average, the weather office said.
"The sky will continue to remain partly cloudy in the day and the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius," an official of the India Meteorological Department told IANS.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m was 58 per cent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature settled at 38.3 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 23.3 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
