According to official sources, workers from the Forest Department were being taken to collect Tendu leaves from Tilwara to Chargawan area around 1 a.m. on Thursday when the driver lost control of the vehicle, which crashed into a culvert and fell into a channel near Jamuniya village.
The injured are being treated at Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College and Hospital here. All the workers belonged to Maharashtra, police said.
