New Delhi, May 6 (IANS) The national capital experienced another hot day on Saturday with the maximum temperature at 41.7 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, the Met office said. It has forecast partly cloudy weather on Sunday with the mercury at the same level.
"There would be partly cloudy sky on Sunday," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official, adding the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 42 and 24 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The minimum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 24 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average, while the humidity oscillated between a high of 64 and low of 18 per cent.
Friday's maximum temperature was recorded 40.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 23.5 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average.
