Eight die in Pakistan road accident

Islamabad, May 4 (IANS) At least eight people, including seven women of a family, were killed and three others wounded in a road accident in Pakistan-administered Kashmir on Thursday, police said.

The accident occurred in Haveli district -- some 185 kms from Muzaffarabad -- while the family was returning home after attending a wedding ceremony in Chanjal, police sources told local urdu media.

Last month, two people were killed and five others injured when a car swerved off the road and fell into a ravine near Batmang area of the region.
