New Delhi, April 29 (IANS) A dust storm on Saturday evening and cloudy skies most of the day on Saturday brought some respite to Delhi residents from the scorching sun while the maximum temperature settled at 39.2 degrees Celsius, a notch above the average, the Met office said. Light rain or dust storm is also likely on Sunday.
"There would be a partly cloudy sky with possibility of light rain or thunderstorm or dust storm on Sunday," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 38 and 23 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The minimum temperature on Saturday was 24 degrees Celsius, average for the season, while the humidity oscillated between a high of 65 and a low of 24 per cent.
Friday's minimum and maximum temperature was recorded at 24 and 38.6 degree Celsius respectively, average for this time of the year.
