Panaji, April 28 (IANS) Fourteen SpiceJet passengers, who missed their connecting flight to Delhi due to a delay caused by technical reasons to the Chennai-Goa SpiceJet flight, were accommodated in another airline after considerable delay, officials said on Friday.
The Airports Authority of India Director for Goa's Dabolim airport, Bhupesh Negi, said the 14 passengers, who missed their connecting flight SpiceJet SG 172 to New Delhi, were accommodated on an Indigo Airlines flight to the national capital at 5.45 p.m.
"SpiceJet's Chennai-Goa flight had technical difficulties as a result of which it was delayed and the 14 passengers missed their connecting flight (to Delhi). They have been accommodated on an Indigo flight," Negi told IANS.
The alternative arrangements were made after the passengers complained to SpiceJet officials about the delay of more than two hours, an official said.
SpiceJet acknowledged the delay.
