New Delhi, April 24 (IANS) It was a hot Monday morning here in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 25.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
The Met department has forecast partly cloudy sky with possibility of thunder and lightening.
The maximum temperature was expected to hover around 39 degrees Celsius.
"The sky is likely to turn partly cloudy later in the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department to IANS.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 51 per cent.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 39.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.8 degrees Celsius.
