The two-day festival April 29-30 organised at the Siri Fort Auditorium by Alchemist Marketing and Talent Solutions, will showcase back-to-back some of the best plays of the country.
The festival will bring three plays in Hindi and English, with diverse themes and a stunning casts. Naseeruddin Shah and Rajit Kapur's will be seen in "A Walk in the Woods", "Ek Mulaqaat" will feature Shekhar Suman and Deepti Naval, while Saurabh Shukla will be seen in "Barff".
The festival will also feature panel discussions, theatre workshops and other exciting activities apart from the plays, making it a unique event.
"Despite a highly discerning audience of theatre-goers, Delhi lacks enough options in the cultural and live entertainment sphere. We are very proud to have established a platform where theatre will thrive and envision the annual Delhi Theatre Festival to be the breeding ground for theatre in India," Manish Porwal, Managing Director of Alchemist, said in a statement.
Tickets are priced at Rs 500 and can also be bought from the BookMyShow online platform.
