Zee Theatre announces two additional shows of ‘Agnipankh’

Mumbai, April 11 (IANS) After a successful inaugural show in March, Zee Theatre has announced two additional shows of its latest production "Agnipankh" in Mumbai.

Directed by acclaimed actor Ganesh Yadav, the play features Mita Vasisht in the lead. The play will be staged at the NCPA on April 14.

'Agnipankh' is a historical drama set at the time of Independence with the winds of change sweeping across the country.

Talking about the play, Mita Vasisht said: "We were overwhelmed with the response of the first show that Zee Theatre organised and we are ecstatic to know that the second show is happening in April at NCPA. The show portrays the strength of a woman and how she can withstand any hurdle that comes her way. It's an honour to be playing the role of 'Baisaheb'. I absolutely look forward to the next show."

Sunil Buch, CEO, Zee Live and Zee Talent said: "Audience appreciation is the most precious and highest gratification in Theatre, and we are extremely glad to note the positive response received by 'Agnipankh'. We're excited to offer this masterpiece again to the audiences of Mumbai. With eminent theatre personalities like Mita, Satyajit and others showcasing their best theatrical performances in 'Agnipankh', we continue Zee Theatre's journey of reviving the purest form of entertainment for audiences across the world."

Zee Theatre is a special offering from the stable of the leading global content company Zee Entertainment Enterprises.
