Brazil returns to top in FIFA rankings

Madrid, April 6 (IANS) Brazil's national football team on Thursday regained the top spot in the FIFA world rankings for the first time since 2010.

Argentina slipped one position to be at second spot, while World Cup winner Germany stayed in third place, followed by Chile in fourth, reports Efe.

Colombia climbed two places to settle in fifth place in the table, while the Spanish team remains at 10th.

Switzerland moved up two spots into ninth, while Uruguay dropped six to 15th position.
