Haridwar, April 1 (IANS) The Gayatri Pariwar on Saturday assured all cooperation for development projects of the Uttarakhand government, especially those relating to the clean Ganga and environmental protection.
The assurance was made by Pariwar head Pranav Pandaya to Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, who visited Shantikunj and discussed various matters relating to the development of the hill state, particularly the Nirmal Ganga Jan Abhiyan and afforestation, a press statement said.
Shailbala Pandaya, the Chief Managing Trustee of Vedmata Gayatri Trust, meanwhile honoured Rawat and his Cabinet colleague Madan Kaushik with a gift of Gayatri Upvastra and Yug Sahitya.
Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidayalya Pro Vice Chancellor Chinmay Pandya also briefed Rawat about various courses conducted by the institution for all-round development of youth.
Rawat also visited the Akhand Deepak and Samadhi Sthal.
