London, Mar 26 (PTI) Singer-actor Gavin Rossdale wants a sequel to movie "Constantine" which starred him in the role of antagonist Balthazar.
The 2005 comic book adaptation featured Keanu Reeves in the lead role and Rossdale says he feels sad that a sequel was never made, reported Digital Spy.
"I loved that movie. When I drove to that set, I considered that even the janitor had more experience on movies than I did. I had no experience.
"I'm a true artist, in at the deep end, not sure how shallow the water is. My heart does hurt that it's the only big film that didn't get a sequel. I feel robbed," Rossdale says.
"I'd do a sequel in a heartbeat, I loved it. I based that character on Anthony Hopkins in 'Silence of the Lambs'," he adds.
The movie starred Reeves as John Constantine, a cynic with the ability to perceive and communicate with half-angels and half-demons in their true form.
