Jammu, March 23 (IANS) Officers and jawans of the Indian and Pakistani armies on Thursday exchanged greetings and sweets on the occasion of Pakistan's Resolution Day at the Poonch-Rawalakot crossing point and Mendhar Hot Spring Crossing Point in Jammu and Kashmir, an official source said.
"The day is commemorated in Pakistan the Lahore Resolution passed on March 23, 1940, and adoption of the country's first Constitution during transition from the Dominion of Pakistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on March 23, 1956," Defence Ministry spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Manish Mehta told IANS.
Greetings on the occasion were conveyed to the Pakistani people and Army by the Indian side, he said.
