China’s BOE Technology enters India, to launch new devices


New Delhi, March 21 (IANS) China-based BOE Technology Group on Tuesday announced its entry into the Indian market and plans to launch new products later this year.

BOE Technology Group has three core businesses -- display devices, smart systems and healthcare services.

"India's TV and mobile consumer markets are growing at a rapid pace and, coupled with Internet of Things (IoT), offers tremendous opportunity for BOE Technology Group," said Guo Chao, General Manager of Overseas Sales and Marketing, BOE Technology Group, in a statement.

The new devices will include 98-inch ultra-large size 4K TV, ultra-narrow border, OLED display and BOE iGallery cloud art museum.

BOE offers display technologies, products and services as well as the best user experiences for smartphones, tablets, notebooks, monitors, TVs, cars and other vehicles, industry control panels, medical uses, wearable devices, VR/ARs and other digital information displays.

"We are also establishing a people-oriented healthcare service and Big Data system, making healthcare services smarter and efficient," added Chao.
