India-UAE conference pitches for greater trade and investment


Dubai, March 20 (IANS/WAM) The second annual All India Management Association (AIMA) India-UAE conference was held here on Monday under the auspices of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development.

The event was organised under the theme, "Resetting Globalisation: Collaborating in a Fast Changing World".

President of the AIMA Sunil Kant Munjal thanked Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak for his patronage of the conference and taking special interest in building bridges between the business leaders of India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

India's envoy to the UAE Navdeep Singh Suri was also present at the conference and lauded the growing trade and investment relations between India and the UAE in an address to conference attendees.

The AIMA India-UAE conference held various sessions covering the healthcare sector's new innovations and technologies to encourage competitiveness, the banking and financial sector's financial technologies transformation, and the growing role of technology and innovation in the retail sector.
