Mumbai, March 18 (IANS) India chief coach Stephen Constantine on Saturday announced his 24-member football squad for the matches against Cambodia and Myanmar to be held in the coming fortnight.
The international friendly against Cambodia is slated to be held at Phnom Penh next Wednesday. India hit the road again to face Myanmar on March 28 in their AFC Asian Cup 2019 qualifiers opener.
There have been four new entrants in the national team set-up with Nishu Kumar, Anas Edathodika, Jerry Lalrinzuala and Milan Singh all making the squad.
"The character showed by the boys in the camp has been exemplary. They worked very hard and we are looking forward to getting a result in both the matches. We are ready for the dual challenge," Constantine said here.
