Seven killed in two road accidents in Andhra


Vijayawada, March 17 (IANS) Seven people were killed in two separate road accidents in Andhra Pradesh on Friday, police said.

Four labourers were killed and 10 others injured when an auto-rickshaw overturned near Jangameswarapuram in Guntur district.

The accident occurred when the labourers were returning in an auto-rickshaw to Gurjala from a nearby village.

The driver lost control of the overloaded vehicle resulting in the accident, police said.

In another accident in Prakasam district, three persons were killed and four injured when a tractor overturned near Turumella village.

The injured were admitted to a hospital where their condition was stated to be critical.
