Mumbai, March 16 (IANS) Actress Alia Bhatt, who has just turned 24, will host a special screening of "Beauty and The Beast" for children from an NGO.
The actress supports an NGO called Angel Express Foundation and the screening will be held specially for its children here on Thursday at a suburban preview theatre.
Alia will be joined by her friends and family members too, said a source from Disney which has produced the film.
"Beauty And The Beast", starring Emma Watson, is among the most awaited family musicals this year. It will release in India on Friday.
Directed by Bill Condon, the film also stars Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Stanley Tucci, Kevin Kline and Ewan McGregor.
The film is a live-action remake of Disney's 1991 film of the same name, itself an adaptation of Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont's fairy tale.
