Salma Hayek doesn’t want to keep playing ‘sexy’ roles

Los Angeles, Mar 15 (PTI) Actress Salma Hayek says she is bored of playing "sexy" roles in the movies and is now willing to portray a mother or grandmother on big screen.

During an interview with DuJour magazine, the 50-year-old actress says, "Sometimes with age, you get better characters.

I love to play the mother, and I'll be excited to play the grandmother.

"How boring to play that (sexy) part for the rest of my life. I think I'd shoot myself."

Hayek says she prefers to pick movies that fit around her family as her husband and daughter are her top priorities.

"A lot of the time I choose the movies I do by convenience. I just take it one day at a time, I don't do strategy.

"The most important thing in my life is my family, easily.

I've never been away from my daughter for more than two weeks.

Sometimes I do a movie (just) because I like the people," she says.
