Shimla, March 9 (IANS) A moderate intensity tremor rocked Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district on Thursday, the third one in just over a month. However, no loss of life or damage to property has been reported from anywhere so far.
The earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale was recorded at 2.09 p.m., said local Meteorological Office Director Manmohan Singh.
The epicentre of the quake was Chamba region, bordering Jammu and Kashmir.
This was the third mild quake recorded in Chamba in just over a month.
Earlier earthquakes were recorded on March 2 and February 4.
