New Delhi, March 7 (IANS) The internet has turned out to be a boon for many talented people due to the exposure and reach that it offers, but Grammy winning Russian-German record producer and DJ Zedd, says sometimes he wishes that the platform wasn't as big as it is today.
"Sometimes I wish that internet wasn't as big as it is and it's going back to the way it used to be. At the same time, without internet I wouldn't be here. Because my career started because I sent a random message on MySpace to Skrillex.
"So, I think I can't curse the internet because otherwise I wouldn't be here," Zedd told IANS.
Zedd, whose real name is Anton Zaslavski, has diversified his genre and musical style by drawing influences from progressive house, dubstep, and classical music. He last performed at the Vh1 Supersonic held in Pune.
Zedd has produced remixes of well-known artists, including Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, The Black Eyed Peas, Periphery among others.
