Mumbai, March 6 (IANS) Gurugram-based music and film producer Mukul Jain, who runs a boutique entertainment solutions agency Ferris Wheel Studios, is curating a YouTube series called "Ferris Wheel Jams".
In the series, musicians from different styles and genres will come together on one platform to jam on popular songs in the studio. The debut jam is inspired by Ed Sheeran's "Shape Of You", which is already a rage with the youth, read a statement.
The video features Kamakshi Khanna, one of the top six finalists from music reality show "The Stage", the drummer from rock band Parikrama Srijan Mahajan, electronic music producer Zaeden from Spinnin Records and Chetan Dominic Awasthi.
"We hope that such collaborations spark up the youth's interest and help spread the joy of music. We will be releasing a new video every two weeks of hit song covers, from every genre with as many artists as possible," Jain said, adding that he hopes to rope in "international names to ensure cross cultural synergies in time to come".
