Kolkata, March 6 (IANS) Bengali actress Ritabhari Chakraborty, who has teamed up with National Award winning actress Kalki Koechlin, for the short film "Naked", says issues like invasion of privacy on social media are "all out there" but are not usually discussed.
Directed by Rakesh Kumar, the short film is scheduled for release on March 8, International Women's Day, and goes with the tagline "We are all naked on the bare stage of social media".
"It deals with issues that are all out there but we prefer not to discuss them," Ritabhari told the media here.
Kalki plays an actress and Ritabhari, a journalist, who has prepped extensively for her interview with Kalki's character.
"On the day of the interview, my character's boss calls up to say that a certain clip (with sexual content) from the actress' film has gone viral and the interview questions are modified in accordance with the development... So, the film narrates what happens after that," said Ritabhari.
Kalki had tweeted about the film: "We girls are up to no good again. This short is releasing on Women's Day."
