Bhopal, March 5 (IANS) Two girls from Uzbekistan were found injured on a road in the Madhya Pradesh capital, police said on Sunday.
It appeared that the girls were thrown out of a car, but police denied it, while the girls, who are studying in Delhi, refused to file a complaint.
According to police, Christina, one of the students, became friends with Deepesh through Facebook and planned to meet him in Bhopal. She brought another friend along and both were staying at a hotel in the New Market area here.
They were found on a city street on Saturday night and taken to the hospital.
Denying that the girls were thrown out of a car, Superintendent of Police (Crime) Rashmi Mishra told reporters said that the girls were injured in a road accident. However T.T. Nagar Police Station in-charge Kuldeep Khatri told IANS that it seemed that the girls met their friends at a pub but soon had an argument which turned violent.
