Mumbai, March 4 (IANS) As many as 1400 women will be competing in the third edition of the Western India Automobile Association (WIAA )womens rally starting here on Sunday.
Close to 300 cars, with young and old women inside, will hit the roads early in the morning and drive all the way towards Lonavala.
The Time, Speed and Distance (TSD) rally is being organised to mark the International Women's Day, on March 8.
The rally will be flagged off by Valsa Nair Singh, Maharashtra Principal Secretary from the domestic airport here. WIAA declared that from next year, the rally will be held in four more cities.
