Jaipur, Feb 28 (IANS) In news that will bring cheer to wildlife lovers, three tiger cubs have been spotted in Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan's Sawai Madhopur district, a Forest Department official said on Tuesday,
"These tiger cubs were spotted by a visitor in Kundal area of the park. These cubs are visible in a video. We are keeping a close watch in the area and have also increased security in and around the area," the official told IANS.
The tiger cubs seems to be of T-8 tigress, the official added.
Ranthambore National Park, around 170 km from here, is known for its large tiger population, being at present home to around 43-45 tigers and around 18 cubs. It was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1957 and it got the status of national park in 1980s.
