Seven killed in UP road mishap


Lucknow, Feb 23 (IANS) At least seven people were killed on Thursday when a vehicle rammed into an Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation bus in Hardoi, police said.

The accident took place near Quaisya bridge on the Bilhaur highway.

The bus was headed to Farrukhabad when the mishap took place. Only three of the victims could be identified based on the Aadhar cards found on their person. Police is trying to ascertain the identities of the other four.

Two young girls were critically injured in the accident and they were admitted to a medical facility where they were battling for their lives, police said.
