Bhubaneswar, Feb 23 (IANS) The Odisha government has received 28 proposals involving investment of Rs 18,434 crore after the 'Make in Odisha' Conclave held here in 2016, Industries Minister Debi Prasad Mishra said on Thursday.
The projects will generate 27,565 jobs, he informed the state assembly.
Of the investments, 11 projects worth Rs 2,214.44 crore have been approved under State Level Single Window Clearance Authority and District Level Single Window Clearance Authority, the minister said.
The investment conclave that was held in Bhubaneswar in November-December last year had attracted investment intent of Rs 2.3 lakh crore with a potential of generating 1.40 lakh jobs.
"While we have received investment proposals of Rs 90,670 crore with employment potential of 70,000 at the Bangalore Investment Meet, Make in India conclave at Mumbai attracted investment proposals of Rs 70,959 crore," the minister told media persons here.
